Refund policy

At FabricDiary.com, we take pride in delivering 100% quality-checked fabrics, ensuring your order matches the fabric type, design, color, and quantity exactly as per your purchase. To maintain transparency and trust, our Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy is as follows:

1. Inspection & Reporting Timeline
   All buyers (domestic and international) have 3 days from the date of receiving the fabric to inspect their order and report any issues.

Any issues must be reported via:

Issues reported after 3 days will not be eligible for returns or refunds.

Note: Fabric must remain unused, unwashed, unstitched, and in original condition. Cut or altered fabric cannot be returned.

2. Eligibility for Return/Exchange
   Fabrics may be returned/exchanged only under the following circumstances:

Damaged, defective, or incorrect item received

Incorrect quantity or major defect in the fabric

Exceptions (non-returnable items):

Custom-designed or printed fabrics (made per customer request)

Sale or discounted fabrics

Fabric orders less than 1 meter (0.5 meter per unit)

Fabric that has been cut, stitched, or used

3. Return/Exchange Process
   Domestic orders (India): We provide free reverse pickup within 3–5 working days. Please keep the parcel ready with original packaging and invoice/order number.

International orders: Returns are not required to be shipped back. Send photos/videos, and we will provide a refund or exchange if eligible.

After verification, we will offer:

Processing time: Refunds or replacements are issued within 10–15 business days after approval.

4. Cancellation Policy
   Pre-dispatch orders:

Can be canceled within 8 hours of placing the order.

For prepaid orders, refunds will be credited to the original payment source.

Post-dispatch orders:

Cannot be canceled once the order is in process or dispatched.

Custom orders or personalized fabrics cannot be canceled once production begins.

5. Payment & Deductions
   Shipping charges for returns will be deducted if the customer is responsible for shipping.

Any applied coupon or discount will be deducted from the refund proportionally.

Partial returns from a multiple-order purchase will adjust discounts/refunds accordingly.

6. Quality & Disclaimer
   All fabrics are thoroughly checked for color, design, and quality before dispatch.

Slight variations in color, texture, or shade may occur due to screen display or dye lots, which is not considered a defect.

We strongly advise inspecting fabric immediately upon receipt.
